“ Where to start! 10 out of 10! Incredible amazing authentic Mexican food. Friendly ,clean , quick and most of all delicious beautiful presentation. We had the guacamole with house made chips. The guacamole is big chunks of perfect seasoned avocado with tomatoes and onions. The tortillas are house made fresh and delicious. We had the 4 tacos each . Be prepared it’s a lot of food! All seasoned and hot and so so good. The el pastor, lingua, birra are perfect . The beans are seasoned and not a paste. You will be stunned at how good this place is. Truly authentic delicious.... I know I know repeating myself . But it’s true. Edited: returned on July 10th. Had Gorditas Birra Queso and guacamole. Excellent again !!! Edited:7/18 dinner tonight, a full house by the time we left at 8 pm. Everything perfect. Service with a smile. Generous portions. Everyone was very happy with their food at the other tables and you could hear lots of “ we are BACK again”! Chicken tamales with green sauce and 3 Birra quesadillas with consomme. Incredible! No pics forgot my phone ”
“ Loved this place! The food is excellent and tastes like Mexican food. Perfect for lunch or dinner. The Burria tacos are delicious and we loved the tostada that comes as a sandwich. Great flavors! The churros were a little on the golden side instead of a richer brown color but nonetheless tasty. ”
“ First time going there yesterday and was not disappointed, the staff was this young lady that gave great recommendations for the birria quesadillas , and wow incredible , I also got a torta to go and it was the most incredible sandwich very generous portions , the pricing was beyond reasonable 20 ish for just the food , I'll definitely be back ”
“ Very nice first experience. A different, but excellent taco salad! Salsa was just right too. ”
“ Al Pastor is really good. The taco plate is a lot of food for a good value. Probably the best tacos I've had since leaving Texas. Good food is few and far between around here. All of the salsas are good and well balanced. ”
“ I cannot thank everyone here enough. I cannot eat gluten and have a shellfish allergy and the guy who took our order was so kind and took the time to explain the ingredients in what I was interested in trying. When our food was ready, he went through our order again to reassure me that my food was prepared safely. When I got to try my tacos, they were incredible! The handmade tortillas were so soft, the steak and birria meat was juicy and delicious. And the salsas were so good too, especially the spicy red one. Thank you to everyone here. I appreciate you all and can’t wait to come back!!! ”
“ This place is phenomenal! I have been here twice in the past week. The lengua tacos are so delicious. I get pineapple added to mine. They make their own corn tortillas that are five stars! Their Rajas con queso tamales are good too. If you like them left inside the husk when served, make sure you ask. Their guacamole verde sauce is so delicious. The prices are fair. Vegetarians, please note: They don’t currently have black beans on the menu, just refried beans. My boyfriend is vegetarian and always gets Huevos Rancheros with black beans every time we eat Mexican food. He said it was really good here. You can either get flour or the homemade corn tortillas here. I would recommend the corn tortillas! They are so supple and delicious. This is the only Mexican joint I will eat at in Lexington. You won’t be disappointed. ”
“ I had the 3 Don Tamales. Beautiful!! Dish full of fresh flavours, moist. Wasn’t hot spicy, just add their hot sauce and yum!! Gorditas: yummy, meat fresh off of the grill. Generously stuffed, maybe too much.. I’m not complaining. The tortillas was just a bit fragile falling apart easily. Service: excellent customer service. Our server was very patient and kind. Atmosphere: clean, simple yet cozy decor. Over all, beautiful authentic flavours. I can’t wait to come back and try something else. Price, affordable... ”
